Terry Leblanc is an American/Swedish artist
living in Stockholm. She has been fascinated for many
years with the architecture of Stockholm's Old Town, the
origins of which go back to the 11th century. As an artist,
she uses a mixed media technique, combining photographic
elements, digital tools and handwork.
A
few words from Terry:
"The aim of my art is to share the beauty
of Stockholm, to enhance your experience of the city,
and to help recreate memories of your visits to Stockholm.
If you haven't been there yet, you have a treat waiting
for you. Gamla Stan is much more than shops and restaurants!"
Terrys'
current body of work grew from an illustrated English
map guide for short visits to the Old Town. The
development of the guide led to the discovery of
many colorful and interesting details found
in the old island of Gamla Stan.
The
technique used for this artwork is mixed
media: a combination of digital art and
handwork: sepia pens, colored pencils and watercolor.
This technique is similar to monoprints and allows
production of a motif in multiples. The number
of pieces is limited to eight. Have
